Project Summary

BULK PROPANE SYSTEM AS-BUILT P&ID DRAWINGS DEVELOPMENT

Process Engineering Associates, LLC (PROCESS) was contracted by the client, a bulk propane distributor, to create P&ID drawings of their new Bulk Gas Loading/Unloading installation to be used by the client for an upcoming Process Hazard Analysis (PHA). The following tasks were performed:

  • A walkdown of the site to develop field sketches was performed. The areas included a new railcar unloading siting with 4 stations, 8 banks of storage tanks, 5 truck loading stations, and a truck weigh station.
  • Drafting of the sketches into thirty-three (33) ‘As-Built’ P&IDs

PROCESS utilized its licensed AutoCAD P&ID software to perform this task.

PROCESS supplied the client with the electronic versions of the new drawings that were created along with .pdf files of the drawing package.  Upon completion of the P&IDs for the project, PROCESS was also contracted by the client to assist with their PHA.
