Walkdown and develop P&IDs for the Natural Gas distribution system at a specialty metals production facility.
Project Summary
The client, a specialty metals manufacturer, contacted Process Engineering Associates, LLC (PROCESS) to assist them in documenting the Natural Gas piping distribution system at their facility as part of a safety awareness campaign. PROCESS visited the site, walked down the piping system from where it entered the building and through its entire distribution in the plant to various users. The walkdowns were then drawn up as piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and an overall plan view of the distribution system and subsequently submitted to the client.
The drawings were created using PROCESS’ AutoCAD software on a client-provided drawing format; the drawings also followed the client’s drawing standards.
